With his background in architecture, Saif Kattan has a passion for illustration. Heavily influenced by the works of the late architect Lebbeus Woods, who merges political discourse and architecture, Kattan’s work is meticulous, yet at the same time organic and free flowing. He often cites the Surrealist movement, most notably Salvador Dali, as a major influence in his work.
“I metaphorically depict my dreams, memories and experiences through intricate line-work. I have discovered that I have a particular passion for geometry, pattern and design” – Saif Kattan
Kattan completed his Masters of Architecture at RMIT University, Australia,
